Dining
Santiago’s restaurants serve a wide variety of cuisines, but you often have to look extra hard for your favorite international foods. There is a restaurant for every budget and around every corner. The best variety of restaurants is around Cerro Santa Lucía, Ñuñoa, Providencia and Barrio Bellavista. You can find higher end restaurants along Avenida El Bosque and Avenida Vitacura.
Restaurants serve lunch between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Lunch is Chile’s principal meal, so menus have more options at this time of day. Dinner menus tend to offer lighter items.
