Books in English
The few books that you could fit into your suitcase will eventually run out. There is no need to worry. Santiago has a handful of bookstores that carry English-language books. Some of these stores carry an excellent collection of travel books, Spanish language and children’s books. Don’t be surprised if some of the
larger Chilean bookstores also carry English books.
The American Association also has a library of English books, but you have to become a member to check them out.
