Virtually anything you need to know about Chile you can find on the web. Major businesses and virtually every important media agency has a web site. Most Chilean web-sites carry the extension ".cl."

El Mercurio’s Emol.com and Terra offer the best one-stop web sites for information on Chile. Both sites offer news, e-mail, entertainment, chat rooms and shopping.

The most popular Chilean search engine is Brujula. Brujula has an extensive directory with links to thousands of Chilean and Latin American web sites. The site also offers free e-mail.

Some excellent directories for Chilean companies are Mercantil.com and the Publiguías Amarrillas web-site. Both sites include maps and web links in their directory listings.
