Post Offices
Chile’s postal service Los Correos de Chile is fairly efficient.
International mailing is faster and safer than it is in other Latin American
countries, but expect mail to arrive a little later than the post office
tells you.
Postal carriers ask a small fee when they deliver mail to your home or
apartment. They only deliver envelopes. Packages remain in the post office.
Your postal carrier will deliver a package slip indicating where to pick
up the package.
For important items, you may want to consider parcel post and courier
companies (see Parcel Post and Courier).

Parcel Post and Courier
Parcel post and international courier services have experienced a boom
in recent years. In just the last decade, the industry has grown 260
percent. Prices are relatively low and the service is fast and reliable.
All of the large international parcel companies have offices in Santiago.
There are also many companies Chilean companies. For domestic shipping,
local airlines also provide courier service.
