Magazines A tremendous variety of magazines are sold in newsstands all over Santiago. Newsstands along downtown’s Paseo Ahumada offer the largest magazine selection. The three most popular Chilean magazines are Qué Pasa, Cosas and Caras. Qué Pasa is a news and analysis magazine. Cosas and Caras are gossip and entertainment magazines. The irreverent political and humor magazine, The Clinic, comes out every two weeks with a highly critical view of Chilean politics and current events. Other popular political and intellectual magazines are Rocinante and Le Monde Diplomatique. There are also several business and trade magazines, including Gestión and Business Week.
