23. El Melon mountain range

Mountains and hills. Coastal sclerophile forest, tree-shaped steppe bush and thorny bush from the mountain range. Great botanic diversity. Presence of the northern belloto tree. Relative purity and potential for regeneration. It registers a record in the amount of fauna. Great endemism of vertebrates. Presence of the puma feline specie, which faces conservation problems.
