(From Rettig report) Nest 20 was a secret detention and torture center located near Gran Avenida, in southern Santiago. The center operated during 1975 under the control of DIFA agents, who also collaborated with nationalist groups and other groups from the extreme right. The outside guard of the center was in charge of students from the Specialities School of the Air Force.
Torture was practiced here. The Rettig Commission asserts that both Alonso Gahona Chávez and Humberto Castro Hurtado were tortured to death here.
