(From Rettig report) The DINA operated its own medical clinic in Central Santiago, at Santa Lucia 120, with the primary function of caring for DINA personnel and their families. However, on several occasions prisoners detained by the DINA, including some who later disappeared, were taken to this clinic to receive care for torture wounds. Ida Vera Almarza was taken to this clinic and never seen again.
