SANTIAGO OUTSIDE
A Guide To Santiago In Summer

(Feb. 11, 2005) Large cities during summer are smelly, hot and bothersome, and Santiago is no exception. But fear not: a selfless Santiago Times reporter has conducted exhaustive research of the capital’s open-air bars and finest parks. She even had time to investigate the swimming pool. WONDERLAND
Alejandro Escribano’s Art House

LOOKING UP

(Feb. 11, 2005) Cristóbal Palma has created a unique view of Santiago, with his lens pointed up toward the sky, he’s captured the essence of the architecture and complex forms that exist, otherwise unnoticed, in the city.

THE INSIDE STORY

(Feb. 11, 2005) “Maria llena eres de gracia (Maria Full of Grace)” is the edgiest film I can remember seeing. Comics

STRIPPING CHILE

(Feb. 11, 2005) Chilean comic artists and their creations have received – at last – a homage.

ST Diary

THE BUDDHA OF VITACURA

(Feb. 11, 2005) This week the Diary pays homage to the man who, by his own humble admission, has made the greatest contribution to veracity since Thomas Aquinas’ father seduced his mother over several bottles of red.
