Alameda Rent A Car - Chile

Alameda Rent a Car offers economy cars, pick-up trucks, sedans and vans. There are two locations in Santiago and rental includes free mileage, airport pick-up and drop off, insurance, a child seat if desired and tire chains.

Drivers must have a valid driver's license, valid identification or passport, and a credit card or check. Many rental businesses will not take check, so this is worth keeping in mind if you don't have a valid credit card or would rather not use one. Also this company does not appear to have any age restrictions, so for those of you below the age of 23 this may be a good option for rental.

Alameda also offers a weekend rate, in addition to the usual daily and weekly rates.

Toyota Yaris-A/C (day, week) $53, $360 (weekend) $160

Toyota Corolla (day, week) $70, $442 (weekend) $175

Nissan Murano-full (day, week) $220, $1200 (weekend) $640

Alameda charges an additional fee of $4 to each rental for the TAG device installed for use on the Santiago highway.
